Who Are we ?
A Local Mosque In Banbury
Established Early 2000's
Established in the early 2000s, our mosque began as a humble single room in a house to address the growing needs of our local Muslim community. Today, we are proud to be a thriving centre of faith and community in Banbury, with dedicated sections for both men and women.
Our journey reflects our commitment to fostering spiritual growth and community support. At BSBBM, we offer a range of educational classes and workshops tailored for all ages, from children to adults, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow in their faith.
Community is important, so in times of need we stand together. Our mosque has been actively involved in community support through initiatives such as our food bank and parcel delivery service during the COVID-19 pandemic. These efforts underscore our dedication to serving the Banbury community and making a positive impact as our religion teaches us.
How did it start?
The story of BSBBM began with the vision and dedication of Sheikh Shouaib, who brought together members of the Banbury community to address the growing need for another local place of worship.
With his initiative and the support of the community, the mosque started from a single room in a house and gradually expanded into the full-fledged mosque it is today. Through collective efforts, BSBBM has grown into a vital centre for spiritual, educational, and community support in Banbury.
“We welcome you to our mosque, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.”
